The Wimbledon Championships 2007 at the All England Lawn Tennis Club are the most prestigious tennis event in the world. The atmosphere around the club at all stages of the competition is tremendous and something that is extremely hard to replicate.
The 2006 Championships saw Roger Federer join an elite band of players to have won the men's singles title for a forth year in succession. The record in the open era, held by Bjorn Borg, stands at five consecutive champonships held, between 1976 and 1980.
The 2006 ladies' championship also stuck to the seeding, with the top four seeds all meeting in the semi-finals. The final was played between Justine Henin-Hardenne and Amelie Mauresmo, with number one seed Mauresmo overcoming the Belgian in a tough three set battle.
