Royal Ascot 2007 will be an historic event as The Royal Meeting celebrates the opening and official launch of the new Ascot Racecourse. Combining style, panache and elegance with thrilling sporting action, Royal Ascot in 2007 will reaffirm its position as one of the most famous race meetings in the equestrian calendar. Brunch with Bucks Fizz is served on your outward journey. On arrival at Ascot, there is a 10 minute walk to the race course. Your entry badge gives you access to the facilities of the race course, with exception of the Royal Enclosure. The Royal Procession will open proceedings in the traditional manner. On the return journey, a glass of chilled champagne is served as soon as you board the train. This is followed by a three -course dinner accompanied by half a bottle of wine. |
| What to wear |
| Although morning dress is not compulsory, gentlemen are asked to wear a jacket and tie. We ask passengers not to wear jeans. |
| Disabled access |
This journey is rated as difficult, but possible with a carer for passengers with special access needs as part of the access is across grass. Ascot racecourse welcomes visitors with disabilities and does all it can to ensure that visitors are able to enjoy as much as possible of this magnificent event. |
